Prince of Riyadh honors “Almarai” at the ceremony of the benefactors of the “Ehsan” platform

Under the patronage of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense – Prince Faisal bin Bandar, governor of Riyadh, honored Almarai Company in an honoring ceremony held by the National Platform for Charitable Action “Ehsan” yesterday evening, Monday, to honor the benefactors of the platform.

Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bader, CEO of Almarai, received the honor shield for the company’s support for the Ihsan platform and its positive role towards an effective contribution to the non-profit sector in achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

In this context, Abdullah Al-Bader said: “Almarai’s support for charitable work through the Ihsan platform comes from the Almarai Institutional Citizenship Program, and its keenness to support charitable sector campaigns through official platforms.”

AlBader added that Almarai has a program that has been in place for many years to support the families in need by providing food baskets. In this program, Almarai supports more than 300 charitable associations annually in various regions in the Kingdom.

It is worth noting that Almarai Company had participated in the “National Campaign for Charitable Action” by donating one million Saudi riyals and food baskets to charitable societies through the Ihsan platform. By this, Almarai seeks to maximize the impact of the charitable sector in the Kingdom, empower it technically through partnerships with government and private sectors, and raise the contribution of this sector in GDP.
