In the early years, our growth was steady. In recent years, it has been exceptional. After we launched in 1977, it took us two decades to achieve annual revenues of SAR1 billion. We then doubled that total in a single decade – and the trajectory continues to rise. In 2017 sales soared to almost 15 billion SAR.
Our growth is driven by the relentless pursuit of quality supported by a distinctive infrastructure mix that incorporates world-class farms, production operations and distribution systems.
More than 42 million consumers consume our products in the Arabian Gulf, Egypt, and Jordan.
Our products reach more than 220,000 retailers in 7 countries.
Almarai conducts more than 39,000 quality tests applied daily to ensure our consumers receive the quality you can trust.
Almarai produces 3.5 billion kilograms of produce annually.

Our Quality and Product Development Division has embedded this principle firmly into the way we manage our business. The division is dedicated to ensuring that the growing size and complexity of our business never compromises the quality of our products or our talent for innovation. Its purpose is to ensure we always keep our quality promise by shaping world-class product development processes that produce world-class products.
Almarai owns directly most of the supply chain points from feed production and importing to manufacturing, packaging and distribution, which enables all stages of product development to be subjected to rigorous testing to ensure food safety and quality as Almarai Laboratories conducts more than 10,000 quality tests on products.
Almarai continues to implement the highest food safety standards across all sectors by applying the Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000).
