Almarai wins the Best CEO in Giant Enterprises and Localization awards at the 4th Labor Award

Almarai has secured two prestigious accolades at the fourth edition of the Labor Award, organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. These awards underscore the company’s excellence in strategic management and its commitment to workforce localization, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to develop human capital and promote a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
Almarai’s CEO, Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bader, received the ‘Best CEO in Giant Enterprises’ award in recognition of his pivotal role in spearheading strategic transformations that have fostered innovation and sustainability within the food sector. Additionally, the company was also recognized with the ‘Localization Award for its commitment to attracting and developing Saudi talent. Currently, Almarai’s workforce exceeds 10,000 Saudi employees, including more than 800 women and 500 individuals with special needs.
In 2023, Almarai provided 507,551 training hours, contributing to an impressive 89.8% employee retention rate, a testament to its dedication to fostering a sustainable and empowering work environment that nurtures national talent.
The Labor Award is one of Saudi Arabia’s most distinguished national initiatives, designed to encourage the private sector to adopt best practices across 13 economic sectors. The award focuses on four key pillars: Localization, Work Environment, Skills Development, and Leadership.
