This initiative aims to boost production capacity to 450 million birds annually by 2026, reducing reliance on imports by 35%. He also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to sustainability, targeting a 15% reduction in water consumption by 2025 through partnerships with the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) and transitioning to 20% clean energy through solar power projects.
Additionally, he underscored the role of digital transformation in enhancing operational efficiency. The company leverages artificial intelligence to monitor livestock and optimize its supply chain in collaboration with Google Cloud, ensuring transparency and efficiency at every stage of production and distribution. Mr. Al-Bader explained that these initiatives align with Saudi Vision 2030, reinforcing Almarai’s role in advancing food security, sustainability, and technological innovation, to support the Kingdom’s long-term development goals.
Almarai continues to consolidate its leadership in the sector with a diverse portfolio of over 670 products across the dairy, bakery, poultry, seafood, and juice segments, catering to more than 150 million consumers in the GCC, Egypt, and Jordan.
