Pumpkin Soup

Savour this creamy pumpkin soup, perfect for autumn days. 

Ingredients

½ cup Almarai cooking cream

 

1 cup Almarai fresh milk

 

1 tablespoon Almarai butter

 

2 cups diced pumpkin

 

2 cups water

 

1 small onion, chopped

 

1 clove garlic, minced

 

1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)

 

Salt and pepper

 

Chopped parsley for garnish 

Instructions
  1. Add the water and diced pumpkin and boil over medium heat until the pumpkin is tender (about 15 minutes).
     
  2. Heat the butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic. Cook until the onion softens and becomes translucent.
     
  3. Once the pumpkin is cooked, add the onion and garlic mixture to the pot, then blend the pumpkin and milk in a blender until smooth and creamy.
     
  4. Return the soup to the pot, add salt, pepper, ginger, and stir well.
     
  5. Serve the soup hot in bowls, garnishing with cream and chopped parsley for a decorative touch.
