Cream Caramel Recipe

Cream Caramel adds delicious and comforting moments to your nights during Ramadan.

Ingredients

1 cup sugar


1/4 cup water


4 cups Almarai milk


4 eggs


1 cup sugar


1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
  1.  In a saucepan over medium heat, melt sugar in water until it turns golden.
     
  2.  Pour the caramel into the bottom of the caramel cups and let it cool.
     
  3.  In a bowl, beat eggs, add milk, and sugar, and continue beating until well combined.
     
  4.  Add vanilla and continue to beat until you have a homogeneous mixture.

    Pour the Mixture:
     
  5.  Pour the caramel mixture into the caramel cups containing the cooled caramel.
     
  6.  Place the caramel cups in a water bath (bain-marie) filled with water halfway up the sides of the caramel cups.
     
  7.  Place the tray in a preheated oven at 160°C for 45-60 minutes or until the cream caramel is set.
     
  8.  Allow the cream caramel to cool completely, then refrigerate for some time.
     
  9.  Before serving, gently invert the cream caramel onto a serving dish, and then serve. Enjoy your delicious homemade cream caramel!
