Cheese and Thyme Pastries

A delicious and quick recipe for crispy pastries filled with cheese and delightful thyme flavor!
Ingredients

200g of Almarai feta cheese, crumbled
 

100g of Almarai mozzarella cheese, shredded
 

2 tablespoons Almarai olive oil  
 

Ready-made pastry dough
 

1 teaspoon dried thyme
 

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
 

1 egg

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
     
  2. Roll out the pastry dough on a floured surface. Cut the dough into small, equal-sized rectangles.
     
  3. Mix the feta cheese and mozzarella in a bowl with olive oil, thyme, and black pepper.
     
  4. Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture onto each rectangle of dough. Fold the dough over the filling to form square pastries.
     
  5. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops of the pastries with the beaten egg.
     
  6. Bake the pastries in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
     
  7. Serve the cheese and thyme pastries hot and enjoy their delicious flavor!
