Apple Yoghurt Cake

Enjoy this moist and cinnamon-flavoured apple yoghurt cake—an easy and delicious recipe for autumn desserts. 

Ingredients

1 cup Almarai yoghurt

 

¼ cup of Almarai melted butter

 

1 cup flour

 

½ cup sugar

 

2 apples, diced

 

1 teaspoon cinnamon

 

½ teaspoon baking powder

 

A pinch of salt

 

2 eggs

 

½ teaspoon vanilla

 

½ cup chopped walnuts or almonds

 

½ cup raisins or dried fruits 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
     
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Mix the Almarai yoghurt with the sugar and melted butter in another bowl  until well combined. Then, add the eggs and vanilla.
     
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth. Then, fold in the diced apples, nuts, and raisins.
     
  4. Pour the mixture into a buttered or floured baking tin.
     
  5. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
     
  6. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before serving with tea or coffee.
